BIO

The five members of the Council have come together after a full circle of trials and failures. Starting in the fall of 2004, the original line up, Justin, Kyle, Steve, and friend Alex set out in search of a drummer. After many disappointing try outs, the members decided to rotate the line up and have Kyle play drums, and brought in Josh to lead the way on the guitar. Things looked promising and the band began writing some new material. After only a couple short months however and a few personal issues, things were under re-construction once again. With Alex stepping down, the band was in serious need of another guitarist, so with another reversal, bringing Kyle back to guitar, the band picked up their current drummer Joey, and the Council was officially formed. During the course of a long, tough summer, the band got to work writing new material, and preparing for shows this fall. Their unique style along with their energy and dedication to making good music, makes The Council a force to be reckoned with. The Council mixes their many influences into a raw, in your face, metal frenzy that combines all the crucial essentials of good music. Technical guitar riffs, solos, harmony, brutal breakdowns, mixed with raw emotion and energy, puts these guys on the map.
